Petchko's Plight

Arvien was fuming.  No food whatsoever, she began pondering eating her leather belt.  But no that was way below her.  Try and stay calm she thought.  How could anyone make a rule about FOOD like this.  That was completely illogical.  Boy am I hungry was all that rattled throughout her head.

Zhukar: City of Hunger

Varrid began to discuss the party's encounter with the unfortunate woman, telling Marda about her requests and relaying the circumstances of her death.  Marda responded,
"My half-sister Callian, alas I warned her not to run, but she was intent on escaping.  She wouldn't listen to my pleas."

Mahakala

Damn these fiends thought Grunyar as he merely ran past them into the next chamber.  There he quickly move to the north door, taking fire damage from the pillar of fire.  The rest of the party prepared for battle.  This didn't seem too hard but the fiends turned out to be incorporeal which meant that they were harder to actually hit.

Upon rising after a quick bite of food and the magic users memorizing spells the party entered the western room.  It was hot, but not too hot, as the party skirted the golden disc in the center of the chamber.  Ralom determined that the disc was magic, of type conjuration.  Baru stepped closer to the disc and could feel the heat emanating from the area of the disc.

Baru and Arvien were in the midst of a room with doors at each compass point.  But a pillar of fire surged to the ceiling in the center of the chamber.  The fire did damage no matter where they maneuvered in the room.  Meanwhile the rest of the party was still being randomly hit by lightning, even though most had disbelieved the storm itself.

The Storm

As Ralom started to query the group on their knowledge of Illusions, the newly mobile Seglun crept back into the statue room and headed for the axe wielding statue.  She moved right up to it and again touched the stone of the statue.

The Accursed City

So off to the Accursed City headed the heroes with Minja tagging along.  The distance was not far but the heat and humidity of Sri Raji was tiring.  Arvien was busily eating up all the food that Seglun had stored in the Handy Haversack.  The party would have to find a new food supply soon.
