A Night at the Ballet

The Ice Monster was a difficult enemy.  It was apparently driven by someone in the Nightmare Court and fought bravely and intensely.  Clearly some fire attacks were flung at the creature.  The battle was hard and long and by the time it was over the party decided that they needed a rest before attempting to find the ghettos. 

Forest of Everchange

Well this is nice Arvien though sarcastically.  No food anywhere to be seen.  Seglun took off for the cliff which she found easy to clamber up to the top.  She lowered a rope which Grunyar tied off at the bottom and the whole crew, including the sailors headed up to a grassy expanse.

The Rocky Shoals

The party spent an uneventful night following the nightmare ordeal with Captain Sylus.  The next morning they went out into Egertus to search for magic items to purchase.  Everyone came back to the Clinic with some new fancy items.  When everyone returned, they were summoned to Dr. Illhousen's office.

The Loathsome Deep

Baru set out toward the large shipwreck to the party's left.  Drovic headed a little toward the north from there.  All the wrecked ships were shattered and broken in pieces.  Suddenly a school of small fish swam out toward Baru.  He hefted his sword but relaxed as the school was harmless and ignored him.  Baru heard Sylus call out again for Aylor, It seemed closer now but it was hard to tell.

Dream a Little Dream

Quickly scanning the seabed Baru saw large fish bearing down on the party.  As they closed it was clear that Barracuda were attacking.  Several sailors intercepted some of the fish, but others Barracuda made their way through to Captain Sylus, Aylor and the heroes.  The underwater battle was begun.

The Strangler Strikes

Seglun led the party toward the Salty Dog through the darkened streets of Egertus.  She turned into a narrow streets just as another bolt of lightning illuminated the sky.  It was almost fully night and a torrent of rain fell from the rumbling sky.  The rain hammered at the party like small stones, for the drops were large, cold, and filling with great velocity.  It took only a few moments for their clothing to become drenched, and they could hardly see more than a few feet ahead through curtains of pounding rain.

Unholy Night

Seglun opened the door at the top of the outside staircase.  She was surprised when behind the door was open sky.  Looking right she saw the old keep with its two towers rising into the sky.  But there was no curtain wall nor keep behind the door, in fact it was two stories down to the muddy ground.
