Round and Round

Only one other exit was apparent in the treasure room, a door leading south.  Seglun tried the door but it was locked, so Varrid again attempted to disable the locking mechanism to no avail.  Seglun grabbed her last bottle of acid and poured it on the hinges and then with Baru's help, pulled the door from the frame. 

Brangain's Lament

Ralom wanted to sleep in the hallway and wait for time to change while the party was standing still.  Arvien whined and wheedled about the soft bed that was in the bedroom the Minstrel had let them use.  "I need to sleep comfortably to prepare the Lightning Bolt for tomorrows battle against these guards," she begged.  Finally Varrid, Drovic and Baru convinced Ralom to head back to the bedroom.

Midnight Run

Inside the guest bedroom the rest of the party was preparing for a meal when Arvien returned.  They noticed that there was lightning flashing outside the window, and gobs of rain was falling.  Strangely though they did not hear the rain or any thunder.  Arvien stood outside the door and called in to see if the rest of the party could still hear her.  Seglun answered in the affirmative and the door was opened to reveal the guestroom just as Arvien, Grunyar and Ralom had left it. 

Time after Time

Ralom was confused as he headed to the eastern door, which he found locked.  This is strange the door was off its hinges when we were last in this room.  Where is the mud and the tracks and how did we get in here, he wondered since the double doors leading in from the south were completely missing.

Goblyns in the Barbican

So the party headed back to Sanctuary, Varrid was sorely disappointed since she was sure they would find a way out of Forlorn in the Maw.  "Why did we not follow Svendar?  Or at least keep and eye on him.  We could be out of this nightmare by now if we had."  Drovic replied, "I wonder where Svendar actually has gone to?  He certainly could get lost on his own."

The Maw of Arawn

In the morning Maeve described the Horn of the Sacred Grove to Ralom, "It is a brightly polished horn carved from an antler, trimmed with gold and studded with glittering crystals."  Ralom limned a picture of the horn is his mind and cast locate object.  The whole party with Maeve and Shelaugh in addition, transited the area of Shelaugh's Rowan Faction.

Sanctuary

Arvien started out by calling down a fireball on a large group of the Zombie Wolves.  None of them died from the fire but several were severely singed.  Grunyar clambered up a tree after being attacked from two wolves.  Baru, Seglun were surrounded by several wolves and once in a while they were tripped and fell prone from the attacks.  Varrid moved up to flank a wolf, while Drovic called a flaming sphere onto one wolf who died from the flames.
